Looking for a high-octane thrill ride? Talk about "Sons of Anarchy."

If you're looking for a soap opera that overdosed on machismo, check out the gritty world of an outlaw biker gang when Season 2 of the FX series is released on DVD. The sophomore season sees Jax (Charlie Hunnam) and Clay (Ron Perlman) face off over questions of loyalty. And Katey Sagal delivers an Emmy-worthy performance (even if the academy failed to nominate her) as matriarch Gemma. (Tuesday)

Wondering if there's another musical outlet for Jenny Lewis? Talk about "I'm Having Fun Now."

If Lewis' "Rabbit Fur Coat" is overstaying its welcome on your iTunes playlist, her new musical offering might be a welcomed guest. Lewis is teaming with her boyfriend, musician Johnathan Rice — and they’re calling themselves Jenny and Johnny. Though the two L.A.-based performers promise to explore darker sounds on the LP, "Scissor Runner" is pop bliss with boy-girl harmonies. (Tuesday)

Need another book series to occupy your time? Cassandra Clare has a few books for you to talk about.

"The Mortal Instruments" is a series of six young adult novels by Clare that follows 15-year-old Brooklynite Clary Fray into New York's supernatural underworld. The fourth installment, "City of Fallen Angels," is planned for a March release. And now with the release of the series' prequel trilogy, "The Infernal Devices," there's a new way in. "Clockwork Angel," to be released on Tuesday, is set in 19th century London and follows Tessa, who sets off to find her missing brother and instead finds out she has magical powers. (Tuesday)
